Flourish recognised for email marketing achievements at national awards
Earlier this year, we published a case study around the great results we helped to achieve for Samsung Gulf and their launch of the Galaxy S22 Series across the middle-eastern regions. Turns out, it wasn’t just great work, it was award-winning.
We’ve been working closely with Samsung for many years, helping to optimise and elevate their use of CRM. During that time we’ve worked on many product launches reaching all the way back to the Galaxy S8 – but this particular launch was a little more challenging than normal. With the celebrated Galaxy Note no longer in production, one of the main launch objectives was to get existing Note users to fall in love with the new range of S22 models. No small task, as Note users are fiercely loyal.
Our experience and learnings from previous campaigns helped to inform our decision making around the planning and strategy, whilst the creative team worked closely with the Samsung Gulf team to produce a series of engaging emails, complimented by ads across a range of digital channels, to help achieve the best outcome.

The resulting ‘Noteworthy’ campaign helped to achieve a high number of pre-orders, and we were able to attribute 20% of them directly to our CRM activity. Better still a little under half of these CRM attributed pre-orders were from previous Note users. Key objective = nailed!
But there was more to come. Last week our hard work was recognised at the Performance Marketing World (PMW) Awards, where we topped the Email Marketing category. Our work was also recognised in Samsung’s own internal competition for ‘Best Segmentation’. You can see some of campaign emails on the ‘Really Good Emails’ online collection.

The award was accepted on behalf of the whole Flourish team by Rich Hartson, joint founder and Managing Director Ian Reeves, at the awards ceremony held in November 2022 at The Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane, London. Both praised the joint effort of Flourish team members in both Bristol and Dubai, whose hard work helped to make the pre-order launch such a success.
